Our instructors have over 40 years of combined experience of teaching students, instructors, professionals and international champions. Our qualified instructors provide classes that are engaging and enjoyable whilst retaining a focus on developing fitness, core skills and mental discipline. We run a wide variety of classes each week so there will always be something that suits you, whether you're a beginner, experienced fighter or even and instructor. Grandmaster Sken Kaewpadung

Grandmaster Sken is the Chief Instructor at the Master Sken Academy. He was one of the first Thai Masters to bring the art of Muay Thai over to the west over 32 years ago. His knowledge of Muay Thai and Muay Boran is comprehensive and yet he endeavours to keep on learning and adapting his fighting system. Even among his peers, he is one of the most respected and valued teachers in the world. His teaching and training methods have produced numerous exceptional coaches and (World, European and British) champions in Muay Thai and western boxing.

Kru Kay Hampson (Kaewpadung)

Kru Kay has been training and teaching with Grandmaster Sken for over 23 years. She is now a Red White and Blue 5th Degree instructor and has been teaching Muay Thai for over 18 years. Kay has travelled worldwide with Grandmaster Sken and was a member of his acclaimed demonstration team. Kay has exceptional skills and knowledge in Muay Thai which she passionately passes on to members of the Master Sken Academies popular ladies’ and kids classes which are built around exciting programmes keep fit, wellbeing and a commonsense approach to practical self defence.

Kru Glen Tobois

Kru Glen Tobois has been training for over 30 years. He is a fully qualified Red Band Instructor. Glen has a deep understanding of how to teach both adult and junior students, running his own gym with in the Cheshire area for many years. Having achieved a prestigious fight career he is once more teaching under Grand Master Sken using his experience to the benefit of our students.
