Grading assessment and qualifying for a career in Muay Thai

Grand Master Sken  grading assessment covers the full range of Muay Thai (and Muay Boran) skills from basic beginners right up to instructor (kru) and masters and grandmaster (arjarn) levels.

Since 1977,  world renowned Grandmaster Sken (acclaimed trainer of champions) has developed one of the most followed Muay Thai Grading systems in the world. His grading system is now recognised by Thailand’s Kru Muay Thai Association (KMA) and The Association Institute of Thai Martial Arts (AITMA).

Besides being a powerful motivational tool for many students, Grand Master Sken  Gradings are used for monitoring and maintaining (and, indeed, raising) the standard of Muay Thai. Additionally, as the popularity of Muay Thai – including its role as the core ‘stand-up’ component of MMA styles -  has grown astronomically in recent years, it is now increasingly taught in sophisticated health clubs and sports facilities. This phenomenon has created a hugely exciting market opportunity for Grand Master Sken qualified instructors who are not able to instruct Muay Thai but also operate as qualified fitness coaches.

Master Sken Academy is designed to promote the global recognition of Muay Thai as an outstanding and highly enjoyable means for building fitness, health, confidence and character (including leadership role models) – as well as being a superb form of self-defence and a highly entertaining media sport.

Grand Master Sken's mission is to massively expand the opportunities for Muay Thai devotees to benefit both themselves and others through their keen involvement in this noble art.
