Organised by the Royal Thai Embassy, A fantastic day out for all it was a free event introducing people to the arts, design and fashion of Thailand, along with giving people the chance to sample delicious Thai style cuisine. The day focused on the fusion of modern and traditional Thai culture ,

Traditional music and contemporary style folk dancing were just a part of the celebrations.  Different regions of the country brought some of the culture of Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Ma to the centre of London, the festival coincided with the 50 anniversary of the King and Queen of Thailand's state visit to the UK in 1960.
